Hi my names Danny lotter and I suffer with Crohn’s disease.

I’ve suffered with Crohn’s disease for 4 years and 3 of them years was me not knowing what I had, October 2022 I was diagnosed with Crohn’s and was in and out of hospitals suffering with really bad flare ups…..no treatment was slowing down my Crohn’s and the last option was surgery. Back in August 2023 I had major surgery (right hemicolectomy and a stoma bag) ever since having a stoma bag has gave me a new life, a much more enjoyable life and I can happily say my life has been slowly getting back to normal, Not being able to work for over 5 months im nearly at the end of my recovery to be able to return back to work and to get my life back to the way it was. Doing this walk will be a massive accomplishment for me as I’ve struggled for so many years with Crohn’s and I just want to raise awareness about Crohn’s and colitis to everyone that it is a serious illness and it’s very hard to live with.
