Many of you may not know, the footballing, dancing and part-time comedian legend that is Andy Mason, my girlfriend's dad was diagnosed with lymphoma (cancer of the immune system) shortly before Christmas last year (2010) and is currently undergoing gruelling treatment.

So please think of me at 11pm on the 11th June, when i will be setting off on a 100km bike ride (more like a trek!) through the streets of London along with Lauren's brother and brother-in-law. We are optimistic and hope to finish the course before dawn on the 12th.
