Story

Cry in the Dark's innovative projects help to bring hope lives of children and families in Romania. Helping to change lives through their home for children with special needs, programmes and projects within a Roma community, advocacy, care and our hospice in Romania.


Myself and the team shall partake in a seven day gruelling cycle ride from San Francisco to San Diego between 14-20 September to raise funds so that Cry in the Dark are able to continue the wonderful work they do.

Cry in the Dark started in 1998. In 2000 it opened a home for 24 children with special needs in Comanesti Romania. Casa Lumina is a home for life, where the young people are treated with respect love and care. Our second project in Romania is Hospice Lumina (Childrens Hospice) Based in Bacau.
