Story

On Sunday 5th October, I took part in the Palace to Palace London charity fund-raising bike ride for The Prince's Trust.  I rode the ULTRA 90-mile route from Buckingham Palace to Windsor Castle, and I'm absolutely delighted about it. I really enjoy cycling but prior to Sunday I'd not managed anything over 30 miles for years until I started to build up for this event.  Alarmingly I'd only managed 50 miles in one go this summer, so the 90-mile trip was always going to be an enormous challenge.

That said, the challenge was met on the day.  Yes I was sore, and bending down and getting up from a seated position means I'm walking funny, but it's nothing at all compared to the challenges facing so many disadvantaged young people in the UK.  Through the sponsorship I raised I know that I will be helping The Prince’s Trust support lots of these kids to a better and brighter future.  Your sponsorship is worth far more than my cycling efforts.

Please continue to give generously.

Thank you
