Story
August 4th 2019
As Dan and I cycled up The Mall to complete the London 100 in 2019, raising funds for Cancer Research in memory of my father John who passed away earlier that year from a brain tumour, we were unaware that his mum Liz was beginning a journey of her own having been diagnosed with a stage four brain tumour. Sadly, Liz died in late 2021 after a courageous 2 year battle with this disease.
When Dan told us that he was taking part in this years London 100 to raise much needed funds for The Brain Tumour Charity in memory of his mother Liz we didn't hesitate to dust off our Lycra and get back on the saddle to support Dan and the charity for a cause so close to our hearts.
Team Liz - Dan, Tom and Matt are undertaking the 100 mile cycle around London on 29th May 2022, aiming to complete the ride in under 5hrs 45mins. With your help we hope to raise as much money as possible to support The Brain Tumour Charity. Every donation no matter the size helps to continue funding world class research, to keep striving for faster diagnosis times and to offer support for people and families affected by a brain tumour both now and in the future giving them the greatest gift of all - more time together.
Thankyou
Dan, Tom and Matt
