Story
Dan and I are taking part in the Herts Health Big Ride on Sunday 11th July and cycling 56km to raise money for the East and North Hertfordshire Hospitals Charity. The ride will start and finish at the Woodhall Estate at Watton-at-Stone, Hertford and will follow beautiful circular routes through the charming Hertfordshire countryside.
East and North Hertfordshire Hospitals’ Charity is the local dedicated charity for the Lister, New QEII, Hertford County and Mount Vernon Cancer Centre Hospitals.
The charity make a difference to local patients, families and NHS staff by supporting projects that go above and beyond the remit of the NHS Trust. They fund extra kit and equipment, cutting-edge research projects, comfort items for patients, volunteer services and extra staff posts, refurbishments and improvements to hospital areas and specialist training for staff.
They couldn’t continue their important work without donations and funds raised by patients, families, staff and local community. Every pound received from Herts Health Ride will help to improve the care for thousands of local patients they treat each year at our hospitals.
