Story
In October 1998 my son, Daniel, was diagnosed with a childhood cancer, Neuroblastoma. Daniel was two years old when he was diagnosed with cancer. For the next 9 months Daniel received severe chemotherapy treatment and was an inpatient of the Royal Belfast Hospital for Sick Children for most of that time up right up to his passing in June 1999. During that time Clic Sargent helped both Daniel and his family with invaluable support in the form of the use of local accommodation close to the hospital as well as helping pay for simple things like travel up and down to the hospital or a heating bill.
Clic Sargent were there when we needed it most. They are there today for other families that need it too. I am fortunate that I have been chosen to run the London Marathon on behalf of Clic and this is a little fund raiser to help support those that are going through what is the most difficult period in their life.
Having a child at home with cancer is as hard as life gets. Do support Clic Sargent to help make it that little bit easier on those families.
