Story
Plessey is delighted to be hosting its fourth corporate hospitality and charity fundraising Tour of Devon on Thursday 7th September 2017. This is a premier event aimed at cycling enthusiasts who are up for a great day out cycling around the picturesque Dartmoor National Park in Devon, whilst raising valuable money for Prostate Cancer UK. The route: Starting just outside Plymouth at the Moorland Garden Hotel, our riders will cycle a 105 mile route through scenic Devon. Passing by the idyllic town of Tavistock, across the moors to Okehampton, onto Crediton and then down into Exeter. The ride continues from Exeter crossing the River Exe, the route heads towards Chudleigh and down into Bovey Tracey for a rest stop. Then it’s time for our riders to take on the challenge of the monumental Haytor in all its glory. Once they've accomplished this, its nearly plain sailing all the way home with just one more long and steady climb into Princetown, across the moors and finally downhill all the way back to the finish line. This year, we would like to beat last year’s fundraising target and raise over £10,000 for Prostate Cancer UK, but we need your help with supporting our riders through your donations. Please support our riders by donating and help Prostate Cancer UK save lives.
