At Alzheimer’s Society we’re working towards a world where dementia no longer devastates lives. We do this by giving help to those living with dementia today, and providing hope for the future by campaigning to make dementia the priority it should be and funding groundbreaking research.

Story

Hello & thanks for visiting my fundraising page!

I'VE DONE IT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

4 hours, 49 minutes and 37 seconds.

MUCH slower than planned, but I finished....AND with a smile on my face!

The run was fantastic (for the first 20 miles at least!!!), with the sun shining and monuments / landmarks galore!!  I ran down the Champs Elysee, past the Eiffel Tower, the Bastille, and along the Seine.  Paris is beautiful!

The last 4 miles were definitely the hardest, as my legs felt like lead and to put it politely, I was pretty tired!  However, I was really spurred on by the fact that you have all given so generously!

I'm delighted with my fundraising total, as my original target was about £350, so to get this much is BRILLIANT!

I'm really proud to have raised the money for the Alzheimer's Society. So many people are affected by this terrible disease and I'm really happy to think that we have all contributed to some of the research that might help to find better treatments to improve the quality of life of those suffering at the hands of dementia - including the family and friends of sufferers!

Once again....THANK YOU SO SO SO MUCH!!!!

Lots of Love from Danielle x x x
