Hi, my name is Danielle Grant. I am 18 and doing my A-levels at college. In July i will be taking part in an expedition to the Sinai desert in Egypt. There will be 12 teenagers taking part, plus our expedition leaders and helpers. We will spend 1 week working on projects with the Bedouin people and a further 2 weeks trekking 100km through the desert. This will not be made easy with the temperatures reaching between 45-50'.

I am doing this because my Grandfather died at the hospice 4 years ago. I had just lost my Grandmother and was very upset. The hospice really helped me and all of my family. I want to do this to say thankyou to them for the help, although i will never be able to repay them, i hope that this will go some way to show them how much it meant to me.

This is a cause very close to my heart and i hope that you can help me. I want to be able to raise £3000 to help me go on the trip and also raise money towards our final goal of £100,000.
