I will be taking on the ultimate challenge of walking 100km continuously through the Peak District on Saturday 3rd and Sunday 4th July 2021 for JDRF Type 1 Diabetes 

Since Isla’s diagnosis last September it has opened up my eyes to this relentless disease. Type 1 Diabetes is a continuous illness that needs managing every minute of every day for the rest of their lives. There’s never a rest moment or a day off. Having to make daily decisions with this medicine (insulin) to keep them alive, though, too much or too little could be disastrous 

I will be walking up and down the Peaks to represent Isla’s daily battles of highs and lows and I have chosen to do it continuously, without stopping, as that is now how Islas new life will be

There needs to be more knowledge and information out there about Type 1 Diabetes because they are all incredible!! 

Please help me raise money for this amazing charity, we need a cure!!
