Im running my 6th Great North Run this year, my fifth for Redheugh football club. Local football clubs are self sufficient and rely on fundraising to help them stay open. More so now after the Covid pandemic having a year of no events to fundraise. My son grew up playing at the club from 6 years old, the friendships and memories he has will never be replaced, thats why we need to support local clubs in order to remain open and create more memories for younger generations.
