Story

I have been suffering with postnatal depression which many do not know about. Its difficult to know you have and I took a long time to get help as I didn't realise I was suffering. Looking back I can see it and needed help sooner! Acacia have been a great support to me hence why I am climbing snowdon for them. It is a major challenge for me as I don't walk a lot especially since returning to work! So I'm doing it for myself too!  The volunteers at Acacia are amazing and I am a better mum, wife and person due to their support!

It costs just £50 for someone to receive the support I have gained from them so please give what you can to help keep them going.

Acacia Family Support offers help to mums and families who are suffering from pre and post-natal depression and anxiety. They believe that no mum or dad should suffer alone. They offer befriending, group work, telephone support and help in the home. Please support us in this huge challenge by donating whatever you can afford. Your donation will go towards helping many more future families receive the support they need. £5 provides one off practical support at home or befriending. £10 cover the cost of a group work course for one of our mums (with free creche). £50 buys a mum or dad's entire journey of recovery with Acacia.
