I am taking part in TOUGH MUDDER 2017 on Saturday 19th August to raise money & awareness for the Alzheimer's society! The reason I'm doing this is because a few years back the most amazing person (My nan maureen) got diagnosed with Alzheimer's! When she could physically help people out she always would and if it wasn't for her I wouldn't have the most amazing family that I have now!
Alzheimer's is a cruel disease that slowly takes a persons identity away, it destroys brain cells and changes there memory, affects there ability to talk, eat or even walk but to this day I still see my nan smiling and giggling like she couldn't be happier and I'm so proud to call her my nan!
