Story

The care provided by the Florence Nightingale Team during Dad's illness provided our family with the emotional and physical support we needed to be able to care for him at home with love and dignity. It is hard to express the gratitude we have for the team at FNH and so I wanted to help the charity raise much needed funds.

Along with three of my lovely friends (Rosie, Lynsey and Helen), I will be giving my all to the 80 miles of Ridgeway on the four day hike.

Thank you so much for taking the time to support me and for any donation you are able to make towards this worthy cause.

Florence Nightingale Hospice is more than a Hospice, and this is more than just a challenge. Completing 20 miles each day for 4 days will be a mental and physical push, however it's all for an amazing cause. Florence Nightingale Hospice Charity commits to raise £1million each and every year to ensure the incredible services can continue, such as the new Hospice at Home service which ensures those wishing to remain at home can do so whilst receiving the same high standard of care they would as an inpatient. Without supporters becoming part of Team Flo and taking on challenges whilst raising funds, the Hospice services just would not continue. Every penny counts so please donate what you can and cheer us on through the miles to come!
