This year I have been lucky enough to be chosen as one of the five Northumbria University students who will be participating in the Zambia IDEALS Project. As part of the project we will complete a six week placement in Zambia, with the aim to use sport as an educational tool within disadvantaged communities. Whilst we are there we will be delivering sport sessions within communities who are affected by high levels of unemployment, drug and alcohol abuse, exclusion and many health risks, including HIV and AIDS.

In order to deliver this project, we are required to raise £1,400 individually and £3000 as a group. This is required to cover transport costs and to support charities whilst we are in Zambia. I would be extremely grateful for any donations or support within our fundraising events.
