Story
On the 1st May 2021 I am doing a sky dive to raise money for Macmillan a charity who supported my grandma. My grandma was a fun loving lady who was the head of my dad's family. She was one of 11 children and grew up during WW2 and being the 3rd eldest helped her mum raise her 8 younger siblings. In 2008 she was diagnosed with pancreatic cancer and lost a short battle in October of that year. I loved spending time with my grandma and she shared my love of Liverpool Football club as well as my love of shopping. Unfortunately she passed away before my children were born so never met them but I talk to them about her a lot . The survival rate for pancreatic cancer from first diagnosis is only on average 3 years this is why further funding and research is needed constantly hence why I am hoping to raise a little money to help as every penny will help.
