I am running this year for the british heart foundation in memory of an amzing man, my grandad...Charlie Dore.
He had always had various heart problems so this charity was very close to his heart up to the point of 2nd november last year when he sadly passed away.
I couldn't let all his hard work stop...
so, yes, i am going to run the whole 10 miles...
and any money would be greatly appreciated.
Having played for Portsmouth Football Club back in the 50s, Charlie had always been pretty fit and sporty so now's my time to prove to him that i can work just as hard :)
I know he will be watching me from up in the big blue sky, i just hope he'll give me a little nudge and a cheer when i start to slow down.
