Story
Hello everyone, thankyou for visiting the page!
Myself and Rach Andrews are running the Bupa Great Birmingham Run on the 21st October this year for Mesothelioma Uk.
My Uncle Mike died on the 13th of April 2010. Although I saw him at Christmas I never got the chance to say goodbye because I was on holiday when he was taken. The ash cloud prevented my journey home, meaning that I also missed the funeral. So running the half marathon for a charity that may help prevent other special people, like Mike, being taken so early, is my way of trying to say thanks to Mike for being such a wonderful friend and Uncle.
I am grateful for Rach for running with me - let the training begin!
