Hi everyone! Thank you for visiting my JustGiving page. I’m super excited to tell you that I have been selected to volunteer in Uganda with Restless Development on an International Citizen Service placement!

ICS works with communities that have specifically requested their help, whilst also giving young people in the UK and overseas interested in sustainable community development the opportunity to become involved in meaningful projects.

Restless Development is a development agency who work with young people so that they can lead in solving problems faced by their communities, and be agents of change. They focus particularly on young peoples rights, livelihoods, and sexual and reproductive health. This may be supporting communities to end child marriage or working on HIV prevention.

The first part of my placement is a challenge to raise £1500. This enables ICS to continue running the programme and contributes to the vital work undertaken by ICS partners, such as Restless Development.
