Myself and Sharon Day are running this years greatest half marathon the Great North Run in memory of our lovely friend Trudy Dunn. 

Trudy tragically passed away un expectantly in May this year. This came as a massive shock to everyone but most of all Trudys family, her partner Paul and Leonie Trudys lovely daughter.

For those who didn't know or get to meet Trudy, she was the nicest person you could ever want to meet. Always had a smile on her face and was so enthusastic about everything in life, she was the life and soul of every party and was always the dancing queen. She's a big miss to everyone but has left us all such lovely memories. Trudy was a spectator and supporter every year at the Great North Run as her second home which was her caravan was based near the finish line of the Great North Run.

After agreeing with Trudys daughter Leonie one of Trudys chosen charities was the Great North Air Ambulance which we have chosen to support in memory of Trudy as it was one close to her heart.

Every donation however big or small will help benefit this great charity.
