Cancer has affected nearly all of us and my family are no exception.

My beautiful Mum very nearly lost her life to Cervical Cancer at aged 30. My Grandad was diagnosed with Cancer in the bladder. And my very brave and strong Nan has just finished her last round of Chemo to treat Ovarian Cancer. I feel very lucky that these three amazing people in my life survived and are still stood in front of me today.

However unfortunately this summer, one of the most lovely and genuine men that I had the wonderful pleasure of working with, Matt Roe, lost his life to this horrible disease, leaving behind a wife and young son. This abseil is in memory of him.

Hence, fundraising for research is of such great importance, which is why (I may regret it on the day) I have decided to raise money and abseil a 560 foot Tower!!
