I completed the Oxford Half marathon today with my friend Summer as a personal challenge. I never planned on asking for sponsorship as I know money is tight for lots of people right now. But as several people have said they would love to donate to my chosen charity, I have decided to set up this page to raise some vital funds for Home Start Central Bedfordshire.

Home Start is a local charity based in Dunstable. As a family and children’s charity, they believe that every child deserves a safe place to live and play as well as protection from the effects of poor physical and mental health. Home Start does fantastic work to supported thousands of vulnerable children. Many young children are surrounded by hardship or tragedy including bereavement, disability, poor nutrition, neglect or parental mental ill health. They are affected by financial hardship, food shortages and unsafe environments to live and play. Home Start helps to build the environment these children need to thrive. 

£15 per week is enough to provide help for a child and their family so if you can contribute the cost of a pint towards this, it would be greatly appreciated.
