As many of you know I work for Kidney Wales, - very inspiring charity who are celebrating their 50th year as a charity in 2017. To mark this milestone, a group of 3 walkers including our Chief Executive Roy Thomas has chosen to walk 470 miles around Wales visiting each and every dialysis unit across the country. 

As a charity, they have accomplished many things including changing the law on organ donation here in Wales. Our ambition now is to open a wellness centre for patients in Wales, which will allow them that family break that they so desperately need and deserve but can't always have due to their treatment. 

Myself and a good friend Rachel Hill will be completing the Brecon to Merthyr leg of the walk this Sunday, -any donations towards the cause would be hugely appreciated. I see on a daily basis how Kidney Wales Supports and helps families living with this life long chronic condition, , and how every penny raised really does have an impact on patients lives.
