In March 2012 I will be running the Paris half marathon with my Partner in Crime Miss Remie Lund a very close friend who is Helping me raise as much money as we can for the YAA.

The Yorkshire Air Ambulance or the YAA as it is often referred to… Is a Charity very close to my heart. In May 2005 the YAA saved my Dad’s life, after a horrfic car accident leaving him with severe injury’s including broken arms,legs,ribs to name a few not to mention the damage the air bag and windscreen did to his face. Along with external injury’s he also had internal, including both lungs collapsing. It was a race against time and the only hospital that could deal with these sort of injury’s was James Cook at Middlesbrough. Thats where the YAA came to his rescue, traveling at 160 mph they saved his life!

I could never repay them for what they did, But what I can do is raise money to keep the YAA flying, enabling them to save someone else’s Dad, Mum, Brother, Sister, Friend… To keep providing this life saving service the charity needs to raise £7200 per day to keep both of Yorkshire’s Air Ambulances maintained and in the air, So not only am I running, I will also be hiking up the 3 peaks, and fingers crossed Mount Kilimanjaro Next year, To raise as much money as I can.
