Every September we hold our annual Sponsored Walk. We aim to raise money for the students welfare fund.

Story

Every Autumn Moor House School & College hold our annual, themed sponsored walk where they aim to raise money for the students welfare fund. The walk, 5km for lower school and 10km for upper school and college, starts and finishes at Moor House, taking in the leafy surroundings of Hurst Green and beautiful local countryside. Moor House is a non-maintained specialist school for day and residential students from age 7 to 19 providing education and therapy to children with primary speech and language disorders such as Developmental Language Disorder (DLD). Moor House provides a mainstream curriculum which is differentiated for language and students are also taught essential life skills to ensures that our students achieve their learning potential, maximise their communication skills, and become happy, confident, independent and valued members of society.
