Story
It's been over a year - but I'm still going! Shin splints got in the way of my training in 2020, and I've been working super hard to get past them; continuing to train every week.
I'm not usually one for new years resolutions, but over 2019 I worked super hard on getting healthier and started an exercise routine - and this year I've decided to set myself the additional challenge of running a number of events, whilst trying to raise some money for a fantastic charity, Special Effect, at the same time. Any donations would be hugely appreciated, and help improve the lives of people with physical disabilities by helping them play videogames!

Special Effect put fun and inclusion back into the lives of people with physical disabilities by helping them to play video games.
By using technology ranging from modified joypads to eye-control, we're finding a way for people to play to the very best of their abilities.
But it's not just doing it for fun. By levelling the playing field, Special Effect are bringing families and friends together and having a profoundly positive impact on therapy, confidence and rehabilitation.
