About me and the trip:

Hi guys, my name is Dan. im raising money to go film in Venezuela with the BBC for three weeks. the project is called the 'Lost World Project' the aim is to go and film un-explored nature, and to inform people of the environmental and conservational attacks that these areas of Venezuela are facing.

the reason i need money is because, although the trip is funded by Ibex earth, we need to raise as much money as possible for the charities sponsering the trip.

the BBC is chosing 10 people to go from across the UK, the 3 people who raise the most money are automatically selected to go. the remaining 7 places are selected at random. so by helping me raise money, you are increasing my chances of going on this trip

What this trip would mean to me:

i cant even begin to describe how much this trip would impact my future- with this kind of experience under my belt i would have a very impressive CV- it would also be a great chance for me to start building a network of cantacts within the BBC.

apart from my own benefits, this documentary will be very powerfull, and will hopefully make a huge impact towards the conservation of mount Roraima (the highlands we will be filming). i would love to be involved with this, as i think it is a very important cause.
