Story
My son Alfie has spent the last year recovering from chemotherapy and leg amputation due to an aggressive osteosarcoma. He is currently cancer free and has gone from being wheelchair bound to walking and biking over the past year; his rehabilitation has been remarkable and to celebrate the results of his hard work we’re walking ten miles on the 28th March, from our home to the top of Grinshill and back. Something that was unimaginable for us a year ago. The walk is part of the Hope House fundraiser ‘Take A Hike’. It is important to us to be able to give something back to an organisation that has given us such wonderful support through a difficult time.
The work of Hope House is vital to those that need them. They are a hospice and respite care centre for children and do their best to support the whole family. If your child becomes seriously ill or is dying, you want them to receive the best care possible in a therapeutic setting. Please give generously, everything raised goes into truly important work.
