Story
On the 5th October 2014 I will be running the Chester marathon for the Ronald McDonald house at Arrowe Park.
This means I will be running 16 miles in England and 9 miles in Wales.
My inspiration to run the marathon and the reason I chose to raise money for RMHC is because on the 4th of July 2014 my Godson Sebastian Francesco Vitelli was born prematurely. As a result he spent his whole life in intensive care.
When I went to visit his parents they where staying in the Ronald McDonald house which was situated directly above the neonatal intensive care unit. This allowed them to be with Sebastian 24/7. It was then I realised what a great charity it is, allowing parents of poorly children the support and comfort of knowing they can be with there child at any time of the day or night.
Ronald McDonald House Charities provides 'home away from home' accommodation for families with children in hospital, somewhere free to stay for as long as they need to. If it was not for them Rebecca and Michael would not have been able to spend as much precious time with there brave little boy. If you could please text and donate to a worthy charity you will be playing a big part in supporting family's such as the Vitelli's and enable them to build memories and be there for there children 24/7.
