As you know I like to do at least one charity event each year to give a bit back to good causes, particularly local ones or those I have a vested interest in. 

This year I'm returning to a really fun event, the Heroes Run, and I have recruited some help! Inspired by the recent DC film we are going all-out on our costumes. Dan, Natalie, Bailey and Alfie will be running 5k as the Justice League!

After some consideration we have elected Crossroads as our chosen charity. They have been great over the years in providing a few hours a week respite for Alfie which is a really valuable break for those who care for him and also something he really enjoys. 

Caring for someone is a difficult job and just a few hours break can make all the difference to the quality of life of someone who has volunteered to sacrifice a lot to help someone less fortunate.

£17.50 pays for an hour of respite, but any donations you can afford would be gratefully received.
