We provide vital treatment, care & support to cancer patients and families in Wales

Story

We are 8 normal guys & girls who want to do something extraordinary (and raise money at the same time)

We are aiming to raise £3,000 for Velindre to support the fantastic work they do. Velindre is Wales 'premier Cancer Centre, providing care, support and treatment to cancer patients and their families.

More people than ever are living with cancer – survival rates have doubled
in the last 40 years through better treatments and earlier detection

We want to help Velindre achieve their goal “We want to lead in the delivery
and development of compassionate, individualised and effective cancer care to
achieve outcomes comparable with the best in the world.”

So the challenge is as follows:

The start of the event will see us climb Pen Y Fan (highest peak in southern Britain) and finish at Pentwyn Reservoir.

We will then canoe across Pentwyn and Pontsticill Reservoir before we mountain
bike the Taff Trail to the outskirts of Cardiff.

We will then undertake a 5k trail run to the Principality Stadium and then
complete a 5k SUP on the Taff river crossing Cardiff Bay to reach the finish at
Cardiff White Water Centre.

Total length of challenge 80 KM!!

Please help us achieve our goal and donate today =)
