Story
Hello everyone! :)
Myself and my two good pals Joe Green and James Davies will be running the London Marathon for Leukaemia Care, a cause that as many of you will know is very personal.
After being diagnosed with Acute Lymphoblastic Leukaemia in April 2014, I was instantly exposed to the amazing work that charities such as Leukaemia Care do. Fortunately for me, I had a great family and friends network (including Joe and James) to help me through my journey, but not everyone is so lucky and the work that Leukaemia Care do through their 18 support groups throughout the UK helps to make sure that people don't face blood cancer alone.
By the time race day comes, it will be just over 2 years since my stem cell transplant (cheers Rob), and it will be great to be able to give something back to one of the many charities who offered to help me, as well as thousands of others through a difficult time.
Despite Joe and James being Crystal Palace fans, we have decided to join together as one team racing for the same cause.
All of us would really appreciate any donations, even just £1 could help Leukaemia Care reach 150 people and teach them the signs and symptoms of leukaemia, empowering them to visit their GP if they do have worries.
Thanks in advance!
Danny, Joe and James
