Story

Since getting involved with the “Buddy Bag Foundation” It has opened our eyes to the alarming number of children who need to escape from domestic violence.

This quite often means they have to leave the violent home  at any time of the day or night with nothing.

A Buddy Bag contains items that at that time of emergency are essential to the child. Toiletries ,pyjamas ,socks and underwear. Also to comfort them,  items like  a book, pencils, and a teddy bear to cuddle, all packed safely in their own back pack. The UK has tens of thousands of children in need of emergency accommodation, so please try and help me if you can to raise funds for “Buddy Bags” It will make a difference!

We are running the Stafford half Marathon on Sunday September 19th If you could sponsor me please on my giving page, us, the Buddy Bag Team and of course all of the children who so much need our help will be very grateful, it would be good to see you on the day you will spot us in our Buddy Bag t shirts!

Every 25 pound raised will pay for a child's backpack.
