I am running the 2023 London Marathon in aid of Children with cancer UK. Having run the marathon for this great charity previously I have seen the amazing work this charity does first hand. 

This will be my 4th London marathon and 7th marathon in total after completing Dublin 3 times. I’m looking forward to the personal challenge of breaking that 4 hour mark. 

We are running as a team (TEAM ROBIN) in support of young Robin who was diagnosed with leukaemia in 2022 so our fundraising efforts will be grouped together in the hope that we can raise 10k. This is a big ask but more than achievable with your help. Please donate no matter how small as it all goes such a  long way.

Robin was diagnosed with Leukaemia in June 2022 just 1 month before his 3rd birthday and has started the 3 year+ programme of treatment.  It's a tough course and just as hard for his parents who are living this process with Robin.Having had cancer himself, Robin's dad Karl will be running the London Marathon along with friends to raise funds for Children with Cancer.  He has run the marathon twice before however this time it's far more personal.Having been friends with Karl for over 25 years, and being rather fond of little Robin, I set up Team Robin to raise as much money as possible in Robin's name for Children with Cancer UK.  We've set an arbitrary target of £10,000.  It's an ambitious target, but one I'm sure we can reach with your help.Children with Cancer UK do some fantastic work funding research as well as supporting families going through this illness.The team brings back a host of friends who have run together and raised funds for this superb charity in the past.
