A combination of Twitter targeted ads and tiredness convinced me to sign up for a half marathon a week after gaining a stone at an all inclusive in Lanzarote. So, apparently, I'm taking part in the London Landmarks Half Marathon to help provide Hospice at Home nursing care to people in their own homes.

£324, is how much it costs to care for people living with life-threatening and life-limiting conditions, in Derbyshire and Nottinghamshire for 3 nights and Claire will be able to tell you just how important this kind of service is to patients and their families.

And I'm too chubby to be running half marathons really so that'll be funny in itself. But give generously to both causes. Mine was impromptu but I don't think you should get extra points for that.
