Story
Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.
I will be running the Manchester 10K on the 26th May, on behalf of the Alzheimer's Society. Dementia is a disease that is becoming increasingly prevalent in the UK population as the population ages, with the number of suffers in the UK set to more than double to 1.7 million compared to 800,000 in 2012. The effectiveness of treatments for dementia lag far behind those for other major diseases, such as cancer and CHD, despite the terrible nature of the disease and worrying trends in the number of people affected.
Any sponsorship you can make would be very greatly appreciated!
