Motor Neurone Disease is an unwanted link between two true legends of rugby league, Phil Stephenson who sadly passed away from the disease, and Rob Burrow who is currently suffering from the incurable illness.

Phil was the saviour of rugby league in my home town of Silsden which is now stronger than ever due to the continued hard work at Silsden Storm. Rob is one of rugby’s and Leeds Rhinos all time greats and is a driving force in raising awareness of MND to help find a cure.

On January 3rd 2022 at 8am i am going to walk the 20 miles from the Silsden Storm ground to Leeds Rhinos Headingley Stadium to try raise money for the Motor Neurone Disease Association who help sufferers and their families living with the fatal disease.
