Story
I am excited and nervous to be taking on the Great North Run on Sunday 11th September. A half marathon of 13.1 miles starting in Newcastle City Centre
going over the Tyne Bridge and on to Gateshead, passing the Gateshead International Stadium and continuing on to the coast. The final stretch is then
along the seafront.
This might be my toughest run so far but it is nothing compared to the challenge that many people face each day when they are living with a terminal illness. This is why I am raising money for the amazing St Michael’s Hospice in Harrogate. A remarkable place which provides support, not only to the patients, but their family, friends and carers. They provide a safe space, respite from care, and help all affected deal with the stresses at such a devastating time.
So please, if it’s only a few pence I would truly appreciate any support for this worthy cause…. and if you fancy a day out your support cheering me on would be more than appreciated.
Remember every donation helps to keep St Michael’s
Hospice funded and able to carry on its great achievements and no one knows when they might need their help.
Your donation will help Saint Michael's Hospice support local families living with terminal illness and bereavement, thank you.
