Story

I'm setting up this page to help to support Vicki and Woody in their goal to raise £1,000,000 for the Royal Marsden.

On January 3rd they were told by the doctors at The Royal Marsden Hospital that a lump that they'd found on their son's back just five weeks earlier (known as Tony the tumour) was in fact cancer. A Primitive Neuro Ectodermal Tumour (PNET) to give it its proper name. George is only four years old.

Since then, they have been undergoing aggressive treatment for George and are currently in the US for the latest stage of that treatment.  In such incredibly difficult circumstances the whole family has been amazing, particularly in their mission to help support the Royal Marsden.

So this page is me, trying to help them to raise money.  I am trying to complete 1,000 miles of running across the course of 2017.  I started strong and was ahead of schedule, but have since fallen behind due to an extended cough.  I now have a number of half marathons lined up to push me through the rest of the year.

Any support you can give would be hugely appreciated.  Thanks.

Dan
