Cancer  is a disease which many many families are affected by at one time or another: Cancer is a leading cause of death worldwide, accounting for 7.6 million deaths (around 13% of all deaths) in 2008 (the WHO). That's more that one in ten!

I’ve had my own sad experiences over the last few years and lost those that I loved very much. As much as I have lost, I am very privileged and honoured to know people that have been diagnosed and survived this horrid disease. 

Watching family suffer and conquer through such a horrible time, I intend to do what I can to help support a charity that works so hard to support families like my own. 

I am doing this through running a 5K run every day for 75 days. This equates to 375K within this time. 

Over the next 75 days I will see some struggles and feel some pain but it is no where the struggle and pain that others are going through. So I can do this and I appreciate all the support I’m receiving from all my friends and family. 

So please find it within your hearts to scrape some money together and donate what you can. 

Together, one day we can conquer this horrid disease!
