Story
So as some of you know I've been on a major weight loss and fitness journey for the last 9 months. I've now lost about a 3rd of my body weight! I'll keep this page updated with how that journey continues, during my training for THE LONDON MARATHON!!
No one would have believed me if I said I was going to run a marathon last year - not even myself but here we are. I believe this challenge will not only help oxfam continue doing all the great work they do, but will also help me grow as a person both mentally and physically.
So why would I do this and why now? The honest answer - I'm extremely impressionable. Seeing others enjoy something rubs off on me and I begin to enjoy it. But in reality I've been working towards what appears to me as an endless weightloss goal and I need something new something really hard to challenge and motivate me to get to the next level.
Having the people that depend on oxfam for support and help, depend on me for this fundraising will drive me to keep going!
