In October 2020 my lovely friend Lesley Fowkes sadly lost her battle with Motor Neurone Disease. Lesley faced this horrible disease with dignity and strength. She had a smile that would light up the room. 

I am going to walk 1000 miles in 2021, which is roughly the distance between Land’s End and John O’Groats. My Mum will be doing this with me as I have Down Syndrome and need someone with me when I go out. I am hoping to raise £1000 to help the Motor Neurone Disease Association find a cure for this horrible disease.
