Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page!!

So, after much deliberation over the past two years, I have finally taken a leap of faith and entered myself into what'll be my very first competitive race and quite possibly, my last (though not if I can help it).

I have decided to rise to the occasion and not only satisfy my need to actualise complete and utter physical torment, but to raise money for a good cause, and what better cause than the most common cancer affecting men today? In the UK alone, a staggering 250,000 men are currently living with the disease and sadly, for many it is terminal. My aim: to run as fast as my stubby little legs will take me; raising funds, contributing ever so slightly to the millions of pounds the Prostate Cancer Charity invests in medical research each year and helping to fulfill their goal to cure, moreover prevent the cancer.

If you can spare anything whatsoever, please do donate. I am not offended by pennies (and that comes from a former waitress)....as crass as it may sound..(and as Tesco's slogan so aptly captures the venture in hand)....every little helps.
