Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page for MIND mental health charity.
In February 2021 I will be walking 5 miles a day for 7 days.
I have chosen to do this because it is a personal subject to myself, but also I am an adult nurse within the NHS amongst all other NHS workers whom have been working incredibly hard, especially during the covid-19 pandemic to keep providing the best possible service they can, in the safest way possible, for its patients.
Since the c-19 pandemic has started, there is now a mental health emergency which includes EVERYONE amongst the nation and like everywhere, resources are stretched. Therefore, the aim in my fundraising challenge is to raise money towards the resources and services MIND offer in providing support to cope with the increased demands of mental health services because mental health does not discriminate.
If I can help to make a difference in raising awareness, normalising this and providing services to those in need, I will be forever proud and humble that I have taken part in my challenge to make a difference, even if it is just to one person.
