My First Ever Marathon!
On 10 October 2021, I will be running 26.2 miles through the streets of Manchester in memory of my Dad, Frank Doherty.
Sadly, my Dad passed away in January 2020 just after my parents moved to their dream home in Wales. He was diagnosed with secondary liver cancer in December 2019 with no previous warning.
Dad referred to advice provided by Macmillan in his final weeks and supported the charity. I have therefore decided to do what I can to support them.
This event was originally due to happen in April 2020, postponed to October 2021. This is the third time I have started the 16 week Marathon training programme!
I hope to raise money for Macmillan so they can provide support to other families dealing with cancer.
So please sponsor me if you can!
Thank you so much for your support!
