I love this photograph of my late husband Dan Doherty, Master Entrepreneur. It captures his love of life, his respect for tradition and his cheeky side, which fortunately many, if not most, of his family, friends, colleagues and business contacts got to see. 

I am immensely proud to have spent nearly 30 years with him and miss him every second of every day. 

Reminders of his impact on the people he mixed with surround many of us every day. His legacy lives on through the many people that he mentored, counselled and encouraged throughout his life. 

I have chosen Havens Hospice at Home as they were so supportive and really shone some light on a difficult time. By supporting them we can be sure that people caring for the ill in similar situations receive the respite they need to recharge their batteries and continue to be strong.
