Story
Katie and I are going to break the Guinness World Record for the furthest distance danced by a couple.
We're doing this because close friends and fellow dancers, Dean and Helen John, had cause to make use of the BWH Neo Natal Unit after their daughter Ella was born through emergency ceasarian - Ella is fine and well, the outcome could have been so very different though because of the circumstances of her birth if it wasn't for the dedication and amazing work of the Neo Natal Unit.
Helen's liver ruptured during birth and as such it was the most challenging way for Ella to enter the world. Thanks to the skill of the Doctor's and a 10 day stint in Intensive Care, Helen pulled through too but have since learnt that Helen has an inoperable tumour on her liver.
Dean and Helen have nominated the "Tiny Babies, Big Appeal" as their chosen charity so they can continue to help others who find themselves with their new born facing challenges that they shouldn't have to.
Dave and Katie will break the existing Guinness World Record by dancing a longer distance than any other couple has before and to inspire you to give generously.
Your money will help them to continue their amazing work. Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving – they’ll never sell them on or send unwanted emails. Once you donate, they’ll send your money directly to the charity and make sure Gift Aid is reclaimed on every eligible donation by a UK taxpayer.
