Story
In March this year, my family lost our beautiful Connor.
Connor was just 27 years old when he took his own life. Our brother, son, grandson, nephew, dad, uncle and friend was suddenly no longer around. It has ripped our beautiful family to pieces.
We will never ever get over losing Con but we can help stop other young people, especially men, taking their own lives by giving our love and support to brilliant charities such as Mind.
My local Mind, Suffolk Mind, are on a mission to make Suffolk the best place in the world for talking about and taking care of mental health. They are challenging people to cover the distance of 100 miles over a period of time, raising money and building awareness in the process.
Suffolk is approximately 100 miles East to West and North to South so it really is a very local feel for a local charity. I am going to walk, run (ha) and swim the 100 miles over the next month or two, giving you updates on all the hardships along the way as well as sharing stories of our beautiful Connor.
If you have a few quid, I'd love for you to be able to donate to this fundraiser. I have never been so unfit or overweight as I have been at this moment in time so your extra few quid will go really go a long way in helping people as well as causing an early heart attack for myself.
