Story

Hello,

We are a team of 3 and have decided to raise funds for two wonderful charities: Women for Women International and the National Brain Appeal.

As a new adventure for 2023, we have signed up for the Women for Women's Danceathon on Sunday 25th of June: we'll be dancing for 6 hours (!) to raise vital funds for women survivors of war. Our aim is to raise £750 to sponsor 3 sisters for Women for Women International's Stronger Women, Stronger Nations programme in Afghanistan, Bosnia and Herzegovina, the Democratic Republic of the Congo, Iraq, Kosovo, Nigeria, Rwanda, or South Sudan.

Any money that we raise beyond this amount, we want to provide to the National Brain Appeal, in recognition of the support that this great charity is providing to one of us, working hard to get well for the Danceathon, and other people suffering from neurological conditions.

Please help us to raise these funds, they are life changing for women survivors of war!

With our immense gratitude, Annika, Neary & Sandrine

About the charity

Women for Women International supports women who live in some of the world’s most dangerous places. Women enrol on the charity’s year-long training programme, where they learn how to earn and save money, improve their family’s health and make their voices heard at home and in their community.
